Two pics from the same trip, in summer '10 :)

Inside the "Castillo de Gormaz", the ruins of a big muslim fortress not far from Soria (Spain)

Somewhere in the Monegros Desert... :)

Three of us took a ride to Little Bohemia Lodge in Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin along the Michigan-Wisconsin border. We had been in the Upper Peninsula, Copper harbor, etc., and swung into town for the night. Had breakfast at Little Bohemia. This is where John Dillinger and his gang had it out with some feds in the 1930's. They filmed the Johnny Depp movie "Public Enemy" here.

Neat riding country coming into Manitowish Waters from any direction. We found a great motel too.

From a recent trip to Madison, Wi., a motel, vintage 1967, closed 3 plus years, creepy, dark, damp, cold, mouldy. . . .

Looks like it could be used in some sort of post appocolypse film.

Just needs some zombies!

Shocking this has not been vandalized. The kitchen looks great. We had a Howard Johnson motor lodge close some time back. Didn't take long for vagrants and crack heads to clean out all the furniture and turn it into a squatter haven.

Just thought I would post the picture for the about link . Guess it didn't work for him. Very rare scooters some of the cooler german ones and not often you see 3 of them in the usa together. nice
