The place to be in the 1930's. This was a pinnacle stop for the rich and famous to dip in the mineral water and rejuvenate. The water was reputed to help with depression type afflictions AND did. Then a scientist in the '40's issued a report in the New England Journal of Medicine stating nothing was to be derived except hydration.
Modern testing revealed high lithium (depression medicine) content, but by then it was far to late.
