Horb am Neckar, Germany

Here are a few pics from Horb am Neckar, Germany. The town was first mentioned in 1090. The oldest town crest found is dated 1261. The first two pics are from a house which has parts dating back to 1301. Most of the other houses are from after 1725 since a large fire destroyed over 200 houses. The "Silo" down in Land Between the Lakes, KY. Was an old well for the people that used to live in the area.

Cacaxtla AD 600-AD 900 Tlaxcala, Mexico

Well when one begins to poke around in the hills of Tlaxcala, Mexico you may find the oldest new world murals in a very large Temple.
May I present Cacaxtla two occupations on the site AD 600 to AD 900
The room on the right with the boxes is thought to have been a parrot room to have a supply if Feathers for the religious costums

Birdman, quetzalcoatl

Birdman or Quetzalcoatl is thought to have been the god of Agriculture

Felineman was the god of rain or fertility

These and other murals in this site are thought to be 1100 to 1600 years old.
This is a continuing dig site in Mexico
