Thanks for the link Kurt. Now I can get to the correct Facebook page.

the funny thing is I posted the link to the 950 supermoto way back here post #736 in wheelie time but did not realise that the bike being ridden was the SM as the bike itself was not pictured.

Wicked

Have they put a beefier rear subframe on it?

It looks different!

3 sleeps and I get to see one

In the video....they seemed touchy to start.....and slightly rough running....could have been the video though.

I wonder if a 1200GS could follow through the woods?

Keeping me fingers crossed that we'll soon hear the 950 roar in a clip

it does have the dino tire on it for this test ride, not the rain tire as shown in the photo. it is the Motard verson of the 950 DX with the new SS frame.
Enjoy.
Feel free to go to the facebook page and leave a coment on the video.
Thanks to lead Head for posting the other Video!!!!!

Aahh NICE roar from that 950! Sounds like a happy engine, I can hear it whisper; "give me throttle... Give me Throttle !"

Edit: And f*ck this makes me want one even more!

Left this place for awhile. Things still seem the same. Once in a while someone spouts about an Adventure type bike. Stock still sitting about the same. Dieing to see a license plate stuck to the back of a DX. Video appeared to show throttle wheelies in fourth gear. We need a camara mount to the bike and a little more attention paid to posted speed limits. Is that a school parked next to the factory? John in Leeds, your patience is astounding. I do not think that there is a better cheerleader for US Highland than you and the greasy snake. Keep pluggin along UHLN my V-Strom has no soul and America is a goal.

Looks a safe enough spot for some speed.....I'd prefer some decent sound bites.....Maybe a fixed quality camera and distortion free sound....please

Failure to obey a stop sign......

A cop stops a man for running a stop sign and the subject gives the cop a lot of grief explaining that he did stop.

After several minutes, the cop explained to the gentleman that he didn't stop, he just slowed down a little.

The gentleman said 'Stop or slow down, what's the difference?'.

The cop pulled the guy out of the car and hit him with a nightstick for about a minute and then said, 'Would you like for me to stop or just slow down?'

I got vertigo as he went along that ridge , hell of a drop either side.

It must be really good to have steep ups and downs without the usual obstacles of big rocks or walls/ streams that divert you at 90 degrees half way up or down. Just to be able to let her run - ace

Looks like pretty prestine desert too, seems they had it all to themselves

Nah mate, I don't have to be patient, I already have a Highland to ride. Not having any problems or issues to piss me off, however improvements can always be made on any bike.

Suppose I'm a lucky 'B' in that I can ride what I want, Highland just interests me

US Highland Gets Some Financing

It looks like Highland is getting an influx of 3 million

http://www.marketwire.com/press-rele...nt-1328841.htm

Ahh Kurt sorry to keep asking the same questions, but here goes anyway, so what can you share regarding the status of DOT, EPA and anticipated price range of a street legal Desert X with a 750cc. Also, when will the twin inlet system be available to exisiting Highland V-twin bikes. The smooth sound of the Motard engine in the video is a way sweeter than mine; I like.

I don't think these are unfair questions and certainly of interest to more than just me. You and Tyeoneon1 are pumping the Highland brand which is expected. Just as Highland should expect customers and potential customers to have questions that someone should be able answer.

With 3 Mill for transaction financing best of luck in filing pipeline with orders sufficient to use every penny.

Seconded...Tyeoneon1 on 9/18: "I will have a brochure with prices and will answer that question ASAP." (http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...=599759&page=2 )
I asked about prices then, and there was no response. Y'all need to start giving answers to pretty straight questions, even if you only have a range right now...you have a bunch of support here, don't let it slip away.
