Thanks for the advice so far. Hadn't thought about the whole 2-stroke/4-stroke point!

50mph is a little on the high side I would say for average long stint at motorpacing, particularly behind a scoot. Behind a car or truck you get much more draft and can carry a higher speed. However, at a certain point you are going to spin out.
