Sorry for not reply,I was on hollidays, yes rocafort is beside Valencia.

Yes I have a TTR600 in Australia and yes this motorbike is Ok for the trails here in Valencia, one of my mates rides one.

If U R new riding motorbikes I think is better to buy the TT.

Send me a PM with you phone number and we can have a drink together, no matter if U don't have yet motorbike.

Adios

Hola from Alicante,

I am English, but now live here full-time. I have a KTM 640 Adventure, and I am just about to try and register it here. Any advice on this would be most welcome.

Also, I have heard that it is not possible to get theft insurance for Bikes in Spain . Has this been your experience too?

I run an off-road bike tour business in Andalucia!

You can get fully comp insurance here but is very expensive - nearly 2000 euros for my Fazer1000! That would cover you for own damage as well as theft - depends how dodgy your area is I guess.

We can sort some discount out should any of you want to venture this far down and try the trails round here.....www.andaluciantrailtours.com

Nice water splash by the way in the first pic.....

Hi,
I'm English , been living near Marbella 11 years now , at the moment am frightening myself on a Husqvarna te610, just put an old BMW onto Spanish plates & in the past have changed a few cars , what do you need to know ?
Just for starters , its worth talking to a few different "Gestors", heard of some silly money being charged (& things don't always take ages if you use the right people , not people "farming it out" to others & just "middle manning" it, costing you more.).
Take care , Carl.

Thats a really good idea Xtreme , it seems were a pretty spread out bunch , somewhere a bit north of where you are is probably something like half along the coast (assuming everyones on the coast !).

Course you can mate....open to everybody. I've got a few Brits from my forum DualSport-Europe (and a guy from Portugal) coming over the last week of April 2007.
They're doing Plymouth-Santander, and I'm meeting up with them all in Madrid, and then heading south into Granada.
So we could always set something up for that time.

I'm in, if I can get time away from my child-care duties.

If there's a few of us in the Valencia/Alicante/Almeria/Murcia/Granada provinces we could always do a more local meet before that....somewhere reasonably central to all of us.....like Cartagena.
