It's a long shot, but I'm wondering if any of you southern Spain ADVers might know someone selling an old motorcycle for cheap. I'm looking for something I can take on the Autovia and that runs reliably. I don't care at all how it looks or what type of bike it is. I'm looking for something 300 euros or less, and it can be very ugly and smashed up as long as it runs ok and doesn't need any major mechanical work.

In the States I'd get a UJM or something, but I haven't seen anything comparable here on Cambalache or Ebay, just endless scooters.

Hi guys! Another rider from a village close to Barcelona. We are some boys who ride every weekend for the Garraf and all Catalonia in fact. Since two months ago, my wife also rides with us!

Is my first post in this web, if anybody want to go around these lands, it will be a pleasure to be the guide.

I'm the owner of one Suzi DRZ and one BMW 650 GS '01.

I hope know some of you soon.

I have a question regarding bike modification in Spain. I found an awesome looking bike for sale that is an XT600, but with a TW200 swingarm and 'fat cat' rear wheel. It's in my price range, but the man is not sure if it can be legally licensed for the street because of the modification.

In the US I know people swap parts around like candy. Is that not possible here, without some kind of expensive technical exam?

Holiday in Spain

Hola,

I live in Australia but will be staying in Asturias for 4 weeks in June/July for a cusins wedding.
I was thinking of renting a road/trail bike while I was there and was wondering if anyone could guide me in the right direction as to where I should go, where to rent motorbikes from etc etc.
