just came across this thread in JoMomma, didnt know it was here,
back in the 90's My dad and I kayaked a bit with a lcoal club. we ahd a farm and so couldnt go on any of the trips away but had fun when we could.

I had a Pirahana Master and my dad had a Perception Dancer. My mate also had a perception dancer.

The swim pool where we kayaked most was 25meter long and we could surf in it, me and my mate would thrash up and down a few times and then get some 'surf' happening.

Enjoyed it but life style changed and sold up my gear to buy motorbike kit
