Anyone using the SCORPION MT 90 A/T tires on their Elefant with 19" front wheel.

The size listed is 90/90 - 19 M/C 52P - The elefant specs are 100-90-19.
Or What abou the MT60 ? Both front and rear size would work for the elefant.

My front anakee is shot, the rear is still good.

I would like to find a tire a little bit more "off-road" and I like the scorpion AT. I am wondering if anyone is using it.

I don't want to go TKC or karoo. If nothing else is out there, I'll just get an other anakee on there.

thx

Mitas option

The Mitas is another option.

BTW any Ideas on new head lights?

BTW again I found out that early 90's SS rear turn signals our the exactly the same as ours.

Cheers,

Vadar

IN fact, I bought a 950 back in 2006 because I didn't find an Elefant, as simple as that.

Way to go man.
The Elefant is an awesome bike, with cachet.

I sold the 950 along time ago, it was a terrible bike for me, had too many problems with it, the Elefant is a bike well ahead of it's time thats for sure.

Elefant voltage regulator

I have a 1985 650 Elefant, one of the blue ones. The frame is burnt looking where the voltage regulator is supposed to be. What is the best option for replacing this? Should I try and get a stock one, or one from somebody like Racing Regulators?

Nice bike. I have a 94 with same paint scheme. Thinking about selling it after owning for about 10 years. After reading through this thread I am starting to have second thoughts. Nice Fants here! Anyone know of a good home? Message me with any question.

Cool bikes the Elefants. I wish Ducati still built them.
I owned this bike also.
I bought it from a guy that worked at a Duc shop in Cali.
I put a lot of nice stuff on it, Yoyodyne clutch slave cylinder and a trick clutch etc, I had Mr. Ed's in Albany OR. build a seat for it.
It had some reliability problems, but was sure a blast to ride when it was running.
I sold it to a guy in Maryland that I had previously bought a Moto Morini Camel from. A while later a buddy of mine saw it on e-bay in Ohio (I think?), said he got it from the Maryland guy.
Poor thing has really been around.
I do wish I had kept it - but then I say that about every bike I've had.
Greatnortoni

I need a new bike~my carbon footprint isn't big enough!
