I'd like to take a trip up in the mountains and wouldn't want to overload my lx150. any idea's?

Scooter Camping

Just do it!

If ya take too much crap you'll break down...but, you already know this.

Think backpacking. Enjoy the trip. Next time refine your gear list.

There's a thread on this site with a link about one guy that rode his Stella cross country so it's very doo-able just pack light.

gone camping, but my scooter is bigger and it needs to be to cross the mnts and into the desert...ok this is gross but when I camp I don't feel the need to have lots of stuff with me like clothes I just bring slippers and a change of undies, never know when you might those, riding out there can be hairy. A couple of saddlebags could work for you. If you plan to camp near a store you can always ride back for things you need. My husband had to ride back for firewood, food, beer ...but no big deal...between the two of us we could carry two tents, shoes, water...the essentials...

good luck have fun

scooter camping

You can take your scooter camping, but, even the trailer trucks will pass you on the grades. Just relax and be patient.

after my other post I thought I should go further ....

Most trips are family oriented but a scoot can hold a lot of gear...

with saddle bags Vegas to San Diego...

So Imagine you can load the seat (holds two helmets) add saddle bags and if you don't have another rider you can strap more to the top plus there is room at the step through...
