I've written moto-sport panniers a few times to see if they will offer a mount for the scambler. They do for the bonnie and it looks great. I figure one narrow can on the right and one full size on the left to offset the pipes. Well, no response but maybe they are playing catch-up. They still don't list a mount for the R1200GS! Shame, they are pretty cans...

Anyone know if Metzler Karoo's will fit on the stock rims, particularly the front?

You can use the 110/80R19 on the front.

Just thinkin...?
Ohlins will sell you any length shock you want. Raising the rear by an inch would probably require only an extra .5 inch shock length. No rear suspension linkage makes it easy.
Swapping over to a 21 inch dia. front tire would effectively raise the front by one inch to compensate and would have the added benefit of better handling off road.
I've just been thinkin too...

If the Ohlins 36PL cruiser shock fits, will the Ohlins 36PRCL enduro rear shocks fit? Progressive springs in the front should help out too for the rough stuff.

The Scrambler is now available in lime green and silver, and the regular bonneville has the 865 engine now. Doesn't look like they changed anything else though.

Just checked it out on their site... The engines are all black now, too.

I was kind of hoping they'd do a green for '07 but a wee bit deeper
than that. The black engine is a nice improvement tho, getting closer
to the MI3 bike all the time.......

The new specs sheet says for 2007 Hp is up by 2 to 56 at 7000 and torque is the same but peaks at 4500rpm instead of 5000rpm

There is a 800x is still there. The 1024x is not though. That was only uploaded because I asked for it.

Hey sorry about that - I've had some ISP cost 'over-runs' (was costing me a bomb for online storage) so I started migrating it to my .mac site that I use to move jobs about - and have now even used the 10gb of bandwidth there with people dowloading pics and a movie.

Love it, but I'm just about off the air till the start of the month.

Will dig the Scrambler shots out and see if I can squeeze 'em somewhere.
