Hahaha, that's funny I've had issues since I rode in a sidecar for my second time earlier this week. Each time I ride in one, I want one more! Maybe on another airhead tho, probably not the eggbeater...

I just put an Arrow on my 06 Scrambler. Are you sure on that carb set up? Do you think if I just do the AI Removal it will be enough to not blue the headers on my new arrow?

Hey JP, I'm 95% sure but I can look back to confirm. The arrow header, from what I see anyway, doesn't blue so much as darken. It's natural to have some change in the header unless the pipes are double wall. Imo, the change in the headers lends to character. As for only doing ai removal, I'm sure others can chime in here but I believe a large part of the way my bike runs is due to the trifecta of carb setup, ai removal and airfilter + of course the arrow exhaust. From past experience, it's always good to complete the circle, i.e. if you change the exhaust which flows more air, it helps to have more air coming in and thus, more fuel

One must be specific when it comes to jets...138 OEM Keihin jets will be too lean for that spec; 138 DJ jets may be OK. Which do you have?

I got the Thruxton gel seat on. I like the lines a lot better and it is a bit more comfortable. I'm used to riding bicycles long distances so comfort is relative.

Sounds good! I will do the AI removal and the air filter at the same time. What Air Filter are you running? K&N? I may just wait to see how the bike reacts before doing the tweaking with the carbs. But, if you or anybody else can recommend the "perfect" carb set up for a 2006 Scram with Arrow, that would be greatly appreciated!
