This is that hard plastic mounting plate, and two of them come with the Overlander 60, one for each side of the bike. If you wanted to, you could buy just that plate, letting you mount your own soft luggage to it. Those clamps will mount to any 18mm round frame, though I think other sizes are available or are being developed. You'd have to ask Mike for sure.

Wow, I like it. It's like a work of art. I like the metal mule mounting as well but it is very pricey. I would have to do a lot of trips to justify that much. I will have to put it on the wish list.

Everybody´s enjoying the spring and warm weather nowadays so I decided to go against the tide once more and I took her to the mountains to check the snow. Well, it´s still there and it´s white & cold.

How off road worthy is a Scrambler compared to GS ?

It could have been really great day if there are not the headaches caused by my new mosfet R/R. It gets quite hot in its new location (under the sidecover) and the bike stalls from time to time on the traffic lights. What a shame! Have to figure out where´s the problem ....

I think it's because the single seat "shortens" the back end ....and I prefer the look of the pillion seat in general on the Scrambler......however it is rather a fine point on what is a great looking bike!

It'll go anywhere a GS can go but without the tendency to fall on it's side at every opportunity. You do have to pick your route more carefully because of its lack of suspension travel.
