Kaoko just posted in the flea

Thought fellow scrambler owners would appreciate a 'heads up', I just posted a brand new kaoko throttle lock in the flea. Never installed...

Hello from Spain, I present my triumph scrambler 07 carbureted.
I recently made many changes to leave more to my liking.
I want to ride tkc 80 tires and a mini gauge and rear springs later and improve the brakes.

Tor.
Low bar end mirrors.
Hagon fork dampers.
Custom paint.
Fender eliminator kit.
Indicators.
Seat.
Handlebar.
Brake fluid tank.

And more.

I put the before and after:

Beautiful bike!

You'll love the TKCs. They perform exceptionally well (except they wear quickly on the rear).

I put my 2013 Scram up for sale

Hey guys and gals,

Money has become tight and I can't afford to keep both of my scrams...I've grown really fond of my 2006 and have decided to put my 2013 up for sale if you or someone you know is looking for a good Scram. Link below.

Scrambler lust

I have been thinking about the scramblers for awhile, but haven't ever ridden one...but, I recently rode a 2008 America (same engine), and I was impressed. It was very smooth, and had decent power. I'm in the process of getting my 1984 H-D Softail and 2000 KLR 650 ready to sell so I can start looking for one. I sat one at the local dealer, and even though it's not a large bike, it's a roomy bike...and it reminds me of this movie so much...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8vKk8Zy4ns

Yes mine too, seems not to respond to tyre pressure changes or rear shock adjustment or new rear shocks either which went on last week. Not too much of an issue as anything near 80 isnt my cruise speed but still nice to have a blast occasionally so will try something else when rear is a bit more worn.

Yeah, if you liked the America you'll love the scram. Basically the same motor but weighs 60-80 lbs less and is more nimble in the handling dept. I have one for sale in NJ right now...fly n ride?

I have topped my bike out to 106 mph (indicated) without wobble on TKC 80's.
I run about 33/35 psi f/r.
Squeezing the gas tank with your knees is an old trick to help stabilize your bike. It doesn't let your bike move around as much. Give it a try!
Could be as simple as that.
Or maybe experiment with the rear preload if that doesn't solve it.

Triumph Scrambler

I finally mounted the Scrambler pipes on my Scram. I bought it used with low pipes, converted to BC shorty pipes and mini cones. They were a bit too loud. I picked up a set of Scram pipes and fitted the BC mini cones on. The bike is almost the way I want it now. I need to reruote the rear brakes to above the swing arm and I think I will be set. I plan on getting back out on some forest roads soon to see how it performs. The power delivery is not as abrupt now either. The bike sounds nice.
