Looks like a Jack Pine but I think it's the bike from Heretic.

I might be wrong, but bike from Heretic looks slightly different. No front break, different rear light and suspension. Anyway I'll check it. Thanks.

I'm searching a retailer that has Shining's model on stock.

Traditional "New Owner and Pics" post...

Hello all!

Been reading as much as I can of this epic thread, thought I'd introduce myself by throwing some more pictures in cos there's clearly not enough!

Became a Scram owner 22nd December, and it's been doing sterling work as my commuter - my other bike, the "winter hack," has packed up! Cue much polishing of chromey bits against the evils of road salt, glad the novelty hasn't quite worn off... yet.

Purchased like this:


But within a week the aftermarket "plastic coat" on the chrome wheels had come off the rear rim, so have exposed the rims and left it as is:







Photos taken around Kent and at Biggin Hill Airport. Tenuous link -the call for pilots to take off - "SCRAMBLE!" :P

Thanks for being a great resource! I hope to enjoy the forum much more and to report on some proper adventuring! :)

PS: Haven't seen it linked on here, but I found it tricky to find a mesh grill which isn't the standard Bonneville 7" as I don't want to pay the 60 for an official one. However, I've found a chrome one for a Rover P6 should be the right 5 3/4" diameter. Have it on order and will report the results.

Hi all,
Finally have Pics of my 2013 uploaded someplace to share!

Second ride on bike, and first ever on dirt.

I got 139 miles in on three rides, unfortunately the third ride was 40 miles in 30 degree weather to take it back to dealer...

Under hard braking the oil light would come on for a split second. Dealer thinks they have found the problem and should have the part to fix it this week. O-ring where the strainer/pickup bolts on was in halfway out, so under braking it'd suck some air from top of strainer which which would decrease oil pressure. Description sounds plausible, and if the new o-ring fixes it I'll be itching for some warmer weather soon!

Now I just need to decide what I want to do for luggage.... A happy trail rack seems like a sure thing, but I'm not sure if I want to go with their boxes, or maybe a set of Wolfman Monarch bags... So many choices! It's a good thing I didn't buy a bike that has thousands of options like a g800gs, my brain may have exploded!

Shark homologation paper is only for bonneville type; in italian "Motorization office" it's a valid paper for thruxton and scrambler too, same engine

Here you can see another scrambler with shark retro/bahia scrambler type
I have asked Raish and they said there's only one model that can be mounted straight or up.
I don't trust.

Finally got all the pieces needed to get this together. Pulled ideas from fellow thread scramblers. Not the prettiest thing in the world, but eliminates those 'I have to turn around or else I'll run out of gas' moments, so it's worth it to me.
