I purchased a Firstgear Warm & Safe jacket liner and gloves today. I am riding to Dayton this evening to attend a monthly R.A.T. Pack meeting (a little over 3 hours round trip). Temperature may dip into the upper 20's F on the ride home. I guess I'll find out how well the new gear works.

Heated Gear

I am using the Gerbring Heated Jacket and Gloves. Very toasty... the temperature controller is a must for this arrangment. Otherwise the Jacket gets too hot fast! The Scrammie handles the power draw fine, even at full output. The controller also lets you decrease the amount of load if you are using other gadgets at the same time.

After a few uses Half the Jacket went cold sending it of for warranty, (supposedly life time).

Did you put down a deposit? I was expecting January as well, but the stork from England came early!

I like the matte green/tangerine.

Thinking that all of that matte green might be too much, I'm considering painting the lower half of the tank gold. Just as you have it in tangerine. Also considering doing the side covers in gloss black, as the other scramblers have.
Rous44,
Here´s your bike!!!
(not exactly golden, but I'm not at expert with Photoshop)

News from Triumph:
A total of two '09 Scramblers made their way to the US.
One in Oregon, which we have seen here, the other ended up in Florida.
The good news; since the ice has been broken my dealer is putting some heat on Triumph to get my bike here asap.
God bless the internet.
