That is a Dunlop D404. Anyone who rides Harleys will recognize that tread pattern. The original owner of this bike didn't like the "death wings" and wanted actual road tires, so he put a Pirelli Route on the front and this Dunlop on the back. I don't know how many miles it had when he changed them, but it's got just over 11k now and the Dunlop is getting fairly thin. I haven't decided what to replace it with yet, but this combination has worked pretty well.

going to check out a Scram tomorrow. She is a 2008 with only 5000 miles. Is it worth $5500?

I will have 4 sets of these Hepco & Becker mounts in a couple of weeks. The non exhaust side will bolt up. I just need to build a small additional strap/bracket to keep it from flexing to much. Then you can run any Hepco & Becker saddlebag.

Ha! I dont think I have made it to the ton yet, let alone 30 over! That will be the day indeed, and it will be televised on Mythbusters...right after it is used to win a supermoto event.

Selam arkadasim, nasil? Great to see somebody from Turkey! I have lived in Ankara for 4 years and made more than 50.000 km on my Aprilia Caponord. Great country, greater people ... only Iran/Syria trip I missed. Anyway - congratulations. Plaka 48, nerede sen?

Since you have had experience with the NewBonneville bracket, do you think it's strong enough to be able to mount an aluminum bag on it?

I just got back in the Triumph fold a couple weeks ago, buying a 2007 Scrambler.

Thanks.

Is this the sort of thing your after, Locky

Hey, hold on. We'll have to have a prognosis because I'm pretty sure the lip was my idea. My first attempt at the bash plate was May 29th last year, posted in #4976, page 332.

Your Mudbuster guard first appeared in post #5973 August 22nd. And I still think yours needs to be wider to offer more protection to the engine casings.

So I make that two you owe me.

Depending on the condition, yes. As long as it's in good shape that sounds like a very fair price. Tell us more when you know it and keep us posted.
