Goodbye Scrambler

Wanted to post one more message and thank everyone for their advise over the past year. I traded the Scrambler in today for a used Victory Touring Cruiser. For the riding I do the Victory will be a better fit. The Scram. has been good and reliable but I can't afford to keep two bikes.
Thanks again,
John

Ready to Rumble!

Fisrt off, Thank you Rhodie! for the caliper relocate.
Fits as factory. It nice to see quality aftermarket parts which is rare.
I lucked out in getting one.

My bike has had a winter of farkling, and I feel no need to do more (ya right ).
So off on the first small tour this weekend, the Mystery Tour!.

Here also is pictured my rubber mount to silence my centerstand.
To be replaced with a derlin U block.
Garage innovation lol.

Sorry to hear you go.

I love the Scrambler but if you are going to ride 2000+ mile trips I personally wouldn't pick the Scrambler, the Victory is a better machine for those distances. Ride what you like or what suits your needs, as long as you ride something. Happy trails.

Just ridin' my Scram. What better way to spend a sunny day than exploring some country back roads on a great bike?

Thanks, Griz.

rack support

Max,
Could you tell us the height of the support mounted to the rear fender.
You said you found it laying around? Lucky find, if it was just the right dimension.

Thanks

Anyone need a Norman Hyde front brake kit? Includes rotor, caliper, pads, and stainless steel brake hose. Never mounted; will sell for half of new price.

I like it, I was looking at a brand new Harley in the lot at work with twin headlights ( some kind of Softail I think) and wondered how they would look on a Scrambler. I think they were a little smaller, about four inches in diameter.

Could they be off a Speed Triple?

Hmmm. Damp road, Trailwing tyres. Picture taken just before he landed on his arse.

Twin headlamps. Speed Scrambler? Should get over the weak headlamp issue.
