A good question. In fact either of these panniers have never touched the ground. But until now I have not been riding in very harsh conditions. I know the danger and I'm just now planning and preparing new more solid racks which are going to be attached a liittle higher.

Just seen the new scrambler down at my local shop.
Little disapointed, the seat is just plain black, no bead, white or black, around the edge of the seat. it has the 2 clocks, Speedo and rev counter ala bonnie, but the bracket doesn't have any of the idiot lights mounted on it and therfore looks rather like a cheap black metal pressing.
The whole feeling is a bit... cheap?!

Sometimes model year changes are not always a move forward but, just a move.
Just an identifying mark of a particular year.
No biggie...

Personalization is what makes a Scrambler stand out!

You sure that was a scrambler and not a T100 Black? If it was, then it sounds like the scrambler is using parts from the T100 black (Seat and Speedo/Tach). In that case, the idiot lights are inside the speedo/tach dials, with an electronic odometer and clock.

Like this?

Honestly, I don't like the older Scrambler speedo/lights, but I'm not a fan of that dual dash either. Too big

Hah! That's mine. I'd reccommend it; just $60 or so (unless you add the cost of the bracket; you can prolly figure or fab something if you're clever) and some soldering. Here's another view...

Me to. It's how I was going to modify mine anyway. I don't like the current place the rev counter is in so was going to get a plate made to house speedo and revs together like that.

The bag looks VERY home made to me. The frame could be the Triumph city bag frame.
