so it looks like the stars might finally be aligning for me. Took a test ride on a 2012 scrambler yesterday and loved it. Just waiting for the money to show up from the sale of one of my bikes and the deal will be done.

I wasnt expecting much in the way of power but it pleasantly surprised me, its got all i need.

I don't think you get any more stroke, just clearance. My bike's down until Monday when my Zard Cross exhaust gets here. I couldn't wait and already took off my other exhaust today.

My question is around delivery time and process.

My dealer made the order.a Matte Black few weeks ago.
The VIN was assigned today;
Next step is the dealer will be invoiced, and placed in the tracking system to show delivery date.

The dealer said they don't know when the invoice will come in..They don't have a time estimate from Vin Assignement to Invoice.

Anyone know when the invoice is assigned? I'm assuming when the bike comes off the ship??

What about the VIN assignement..Is it when it gets Built? Put on a ship, Taken off the ship, etc...

Very curious ; does anyone have insight into this process?

Thanks

Dave
Yep, I do... Don't worry about it Dave... It will arrive when it arrives!!!!!!

I would paint it in a classic color from the 60's like this 67.

I had thought about painting my Scrambler 1970 Daytona purple before I settled on silver but next time it just might be this color. I have yet to see another in this shade.

the 2012 T100 will be available in Cranberry/New England White, very similar to this.

Am enjoying the tread and have learned a great deal about scramblers
I haven't seen a reply to this... if I'm duplicating, sorry in advance.

All Triumphs with "coach lines" are hand-painted, and signed by the painter at the factory.
Some are signed in English, some in Thai, which looks strange at first to my eye, but there it is.

My Works shocks have close to an inch more travel than the stockers.
Sorry I don't have a picture handy.

This is CR Smith in action. I visited the factory a few years ago and we found the man that did the stripes on my bike.

Hi..I would love to know more about those pipes...Can anyone tell me who does them?

Also, are there guards for the passenger ? or is this a ''no passenger' type pipe..?

Thanks,

Dave
