Best Speedo for XR650R

I'm picking up my new to me XR next week. I'm planning on turning this into my 200-300 mile from the garage adventure bike (since I live in N Colo, lots of adventure to be had from here). Anyways, looking for the rest of teh after market have to haves to put on this. Its got a lot now, but I know I want a speedo. Looking at the trail tech and vapor. Anyone have any experience with Speedos for the BRP?

Mark

I like the ICO Dualsport. Simple, bulletproof, easy to use, easy to install, replacable sensor, etc... Speedometer, trip meter, odometer, and clock.

http://www.icoracing.com/products.htm

I'm also in Fort Collins, let me know if you want to see how I set the ICO up on mine. You can see a pic in post #439 of this thread.

Looks pretty good

When I first looked at that site they were selling the $500 racing model which would be way overkill, but on second look tahe dual sport model was more in line (what you said). Seems to be simple enough.

The vapor tech one looks like is has a lot of information on it. Anyone have experience with that one?

it is an aftermarket Dakar screen that i cut to size and mounted with a universal screen mount. I made the holes in the screen to suit the mount kit.
Makes the fast roads far more pleasant. Unfortunately i do not have a good frontal pic.

5mm allen key to undo two cap screws and remove the screen and stick in my hydration pack. The stainless steel mount stays behind so it takes a minute to remount. No realignment required.

XRR converters,

I'm about to pull the trigger on buying one and am wondering how the gps guys hardwire their units with no battery. Thanks for any scoop!
