riser

In case you are wondering, I am getting a quote from another CNC shop. I appreciate your patience. I'll keep you posted.
Oh ya, don't worry, there will be no changes to the structural integrity, or overall look. Maybe a different radius on the inside corners, that's all.

Ergonomics

My bars are Renthals "KTM Bend", as used on EXCs. This also helps to move your hands forward and aligns your palm to your shoulders better. Taller people have wider shoulders, therefore the "sweep" of the bars should be less if you want to maintain the same overall width. You might have to read that a couple times to visualize it. Next time you grab your bars, observe how the grip crosses under your palm. Now place your clenched hands above your grips and relax your shoulders. This is the angle that your hands want to be at. A straighter bar will give a more natural grip, to allow you to lift your elbows up for increased leverage.
Add to this the increased height, with the 2" riser, and you can resolve your poor posture problems. Your lower back will thank you. You won't look like a dog humping a football anymore.

Phase 2 I/P

New design is in testing phase. I've changed it a bit to allow for more flexibility, and customization. There are now optional bolting locations, which allow you to set it where you like it. Maximum height is still the same, mainly because of stock cable lengths. I have 25 names now, so I better get off my ass and get them out there. Stay tuned.

I'm in for a set, if that's still an option.

Pissed update

Yet another quote has been promised to me by the end of the week. It is now the end of the week! No quote in my hands
I'm getting 30 made, so I am counting on everybody who has expressed interest to actually step up and buy them. I'm not making a nickle on these, I just wanted to create a simple, much needed item. i hope this all works out well. Wish me luck.
By the way, did you check out the product testing session that Osteo and I did last weekend?

You can't do this sort of stuff when you are having to reach down for the bars. Risers make everything easier.

I hope you take into consideration who posted in what order for the risers because I posted early on that I wanted in. Post #29 to be exact only 1-2 people ahead of me said they were in if a group buy was to take place. Let's get that payment info!

OK the shop order has been placed

Sales are starting now. The price is $90 Cad ($82 USD) + shipping. I'll put together a nice little instruction sheet, and include the two new bar mount bolts (your existing bolts will be used to hold the riser to the triple clamp).
I'll PM the people who have expressed interest so far.
Payments will be via on-line bank transfers, or certified cheques (must be able to cash outside of your country, ask when you get it certified) mailed to me, or I could set up a paypal account (but it will cost 3% more).
If you have questions, that you want everyone to read, then reply within this thread. Otherwise PM me, we'll chat about the particulars.
