Riser orders

Gentlemen, due to the overwhelming demand, I am going to do another production run. The expected availability date is Nov 20/06. As before, you will have the choice of either buying on-line at durhamesales.com or by PM'ing me. Once again, I'm glad that everyone is enjoying this simple, inexpensive solution to their ergonomic problems.

Has anyone attempted to use these risers with a damper?

I've been asking that damper question for a long time... But, I'm going to order them anyway...

risers

Sales have been good, but I want to warn you that once they're gone, they're gone.
It's a cheap solution to an age old problem. Everyone that tries them loves the resulting increase in control, and sudden lack of back pain.
Let me know if you would like a set, or go to Durham E-sales
http://durhamesales.zoomshare.com/0.html to order them up.

I have seen that these will fit "any KTM's" but does anyone have any first-hand experience on EXC's? I have some one inchers that simply aren't enough. But I want to be sure I don't need longer cables or anything, as they already seem tight with the one inchers.

Thanks.

Just Installed

Just installed my new 2" risers and it was a breeze. Took me about 2 hours including smoke breaks. Will let you know how they perform.

Whole new Adventure

Tried out my fancy 2" risers and they do everything they're designed for. I can now stand up (6,4) and ride this sucker. The added control of the bike is simply outstanding. If you thought it was fun sitting down, wait till you stand up.

I would highly recomend purchasing a set.

Thumbs down Ordered!

Ordered mine...finally. Sent away my certified check to the GWN and keep looking down the road for the delivery truck...but hey it's a long way from up there to here... The first time I started checking out bigger ADV style KTM's [have owned a 520 EXC/plated for several years now] I was a little put off by the bar to footpeg relationship. Having owned a XR600R for years that I could stand on all day, I couldn't figure KTM's ego's. Found a heck of a deal on a 640 ADV, stood on the pegs with the bike on the center stand and was bent over double at the waist! My thoughts on the 640 were apehangers... I passed on that deal. But couldn't pass on my '06 9fiddy, now just need dirtinblood's risers! thanks Kev.

I just gotta say, dirtinblood, you the MAN! Anybody who thinks they may want a set of these risers, don't think just order. Little miniture works of art I say. Think I'm ordering another set for my 520 EXC. Thanks d-i-b, Ride on... d-o-m

Professional CNC Machining at its Finest!!!

Hi, I am very new to ADV. In fact, I just signed up tonight. I have own many bikes in my life and love to ride. Unforetunately, I dont own a bike right now but would love to get a thumper of some sort. BUT...What I do have is a medium sized CNC Machine Shop with all the goodies. I have been a machinist for over 22 years and finally started my own shop. I have brand new Haas CNC equipment including a VF-2 SS, a Super Mini Mill, and a SL-20 CNC Lathe. I love to make aftermarket parts for bikes and cars!!! If you want a one-off custom part, a small production run of custom parts, or just have an idea and no way of fabricating it yourself, feel free to get a hold of me. I charge very little compared to what most shops charge and have a quick turn around. I am able to take DXF files through email and put them right into my Cad Cam software and create your part. So, if you have an idea, or want that custom part, feel free to contact me at jsala@jmsmachining.com and Ill get back to you very quickly.

Thanks and have a great day!!!

John
