i'd find out what brand rim you have up front in order to match it if that's important to you,,,and then lace up a 2.15x18 rim with good spokes

should set ya back circa $350-400 parts n labor....if you have the old hub/wheel assy. rear hubs go for $300+/-

we like getting complete wheels so that we can measure the offset..

Woody,
Have you built a set of wheels for the 06' SM,TE-610 Husky yet? I am wondering if the cush hub would fit? TIA

doesn't the judder spring in the XR650Rs clutch make up for no cush hub?

P.S. I'm the someone that brought the XR650R wheels to Woody today

I can't wait to see Woody and crew work their magic on them!

do you have a link to the ski chair side of your shop, I'd like to send it to my uncle

And thanks a million for the tour and history of WWW, that was awesome! My daughter has been talking about you and your "garage" all day

Yeah, I get that all the time too.

I don't miss a cush on my XRR but on my Husky 610, it'd be real nice. That bike needs one.

I can't believe I didn't put this together sooner! I picked up my tandem at the "factory" in July of 05. I can definitely vouch for the fact that it is the best tandem made!

well,,, the existing hubs are currently 8mm wider between the sprocket and disc mounting surface,,,, so it'll need to be sent to the drawing board again,,,will put my thinking cap on

could take the best fitting one ie one with sprocket and disc holes/ drill patterns akin to the xr650r slice it apart and reweld it to correct length,,,been there and done that on numerous occasions

I just bought a set of SM wheels for my 610, without the cush drive. As soon as I get around to it, I'd like to get the rear to woody to see what the feasability of cush drive would be. Woody, let's get discussing

hey there!!!we used to sell them,,but they have gone out of ciculation and just didn't catch on,,i'd say they were/are on a par with Sun rims,,,basically 6061 seies aluminum so softer than Excels,,,like the suns they were beefier,,,i liked em for their rounded profile,,,,mud wouldn't/doesn/t build up as easily

now i just had a panic attack to make sure i'm talking about the same rims you are, ,,no problem since i'm on my way to the shop,,,i'll check to make sure we are talking apples and apples,,,later woody
