Received the 1.85x21 & 2.50x18 today, they look great by the way.

Just want to confirm the tubes & tyres I have are the right size before I start trying to get a square peg in a round hole.

I've got 90/90S21 TKC80 w/ ultra heavy duty 80/100-21 / 90/90-21
and 140/80-18 D908RR w/ ultra heavy duty tube

Thanks,
Chad

dented superlace

Woody: Saw you comment about the wheel staying true and spokes tight with a hoop dent - have to give you that. My oem HP2 wheels Flintstoned the first hard trail ride and a handfull of spoke were immediately loose. I took one of your beautiful wheels and hit a buried rock on a sandy section in Baja at 60+mph, dang if didn't taco the front. Not one loose spoke and wheel is still true. Awsome. Better to wait for more ding or send it now???? I have two sets so I can better manage my target fixation on large objects

ztrab,,,,you have just experienced what my superlacing is all about,,,

if the dent is minor,i wouldn't worry about it at all,,,,gather a few more dents and we'll decide if it's still feasible to straigten or replace the rim

if you can see the tire bead exposed fromthe side,,,it'time for an immediate repair

good luck,,

OBTW,,our illustrious ''Pyndon" of Team Double Barrel Racing that successfully ran and finished tlast years Baja 1000 did the same thing prerunning the event on his big Superlaced KTM 950,,,,,ie,,, getting snookered by a buried rock in the sand ,,,went on another 7000 miles including several pre-runs and returning home to texas via the infamous Copper Canyon route

ztrab,,,for riding in the dirt,,,that's normal,,,you can have 10 of these all around your rim and you should still reach your destination and come back home to talk about it,,,

we don't mind your business,,,,but that's what the Superlace is all about,,,surviving big hits and being able to carry on,,,,of course if you were roadracing this thing,,,,,

keep going,,,woody

F800GS 17" to 18" conversion

I know I'm jumping the gun, but would a 18" rear be possible using the existing hub?

Nice work

Thanks Chris,
Got the TE610 wheel today and mounted up a tire. I like the looks of the over sized spokes and super lacing.

Hi Woody,

This is the set up I was speaking of in the P.M. What is the lead time? I was wondering about how bad is too bad, you answered without me even asking the question. I can see the tire bead.

Thank you sir, Eric.
