Hey Ernie, I don't know if you saw Bill Shaws article in the Motorcycle Consumer News. He gave you skid plate a short, but good review. Congrats.

Order
Hey Ernie, if you're reading this post still please check your email. I want to order a engine and centerstand skidplate set pre-drilled so they bolt right up for my 2005 R1200GS.
Thanks, and great looking products! |

Just ordered my plates from Ernie for my 1200 GSA...looking forward to getting them ....have a quick question though. Would anybody know if the side stand is the same on the GSA as it is on the standard GS. Would like to get a fatfoot from Ernie but neither he or I knew the answer to that question. Thx

Another thing to consider regarding the shape and size of the side stand is if the center stand is the same. The issue, if its not, is if there is enough clearance for the fat foot even if the side stand is the same.

Ernies new skid plates
Wow...these fit great....look great....shipped quickly....fantastic workmanship...what can I say. These pics are not great but you get the idea. By the way Ernie, the side stand foot on the Adventure is quite different than the base 1200GS. If you decide to design and create a fat foot for the adventure...I will be your first customer. Great job...thx ernie.
