LOL, my buddy called me last summer from the MOA rally to tell me he was standing next to those three bikes. I guess he talked to you a bit. Very cool collection you have there.

Tony

P.S. I just talked to my buddy, I guess he has a rotor for the Africa Twin that he needs to send to you. I turned him onto this thread.

Kyle, I didn't try this myself yet, but I'm told that there is a considerable voltage drop over the lamp switch. By wirering the lamp via a relay instead you will gain about 1.5 volts which makes big difference.

I'm curious - since you have access to a XTZ, a XRV and a DR; how do they compare and which one is your favourite?

You might also want to consider replacing the whole lamp unit. KEDO have a kit: http://www.kedo.com/products/40887.html
The price is a bit steep though and I have no information on how well it performes. But in general, KEDO has many nice items for the XTZ.

Well now that you asked. I ride red!
My brothers aren't as willing to share their rides,
so I can only give my one sided view. RIDE RED!!
In all fairness when I do get a chance to ride the other two I'll let you know.

I'm impressed! The picture is indeed from our ascent to the Grossglockner top:

This place for admiering the view was actually not the peak, as the road continued to climb a bit. The GPS showed 2433 meters.

Belgarda Yamaha Racing Division, the nicest ST ever engaged in the Paris Dakar, this one says Eddie Orioli (although I don't recognize having ever seen him at the Pink Lake on such a colored Yamaha, his was generally almost all white with orange, red and grey hues.
Also, the swingarm is not a Marathon type but the ordinary bone stock, the Marathon one is far beefier.
The fairing, tank, rear tanks and front fender are definitely authentic, but the fork (which was originally upside down) has been substituted along with the swingarm.
Otherwise it is an authentic Orioli.
