Got mine on the road this weekend. First ride, 500 miles, on a 18 year old bike and not one problem. you have got to love these bikes.
anyway here's a photo mid ride.

Saw these pics of an african trip on a S10 on the UK site, and thought they were worth sharing with the ADVers:
![]() ![]() ![]() The bike in the pics has apparently done 180,000kms on the road and 40,000km off-road. Wow. |

My S10
Thought I'd post some pics:
![]() Angled View: Notice how slim the saddle is. This bike has an official seat height of 865mm, and I usually struggle on anything taller than 840. But I can flat-foot with the left while covering the back brake with my right foot. It's not 100% comfortable, but it's OK. I'm 5'9" with a 29.5" inseam, fwiw. ![]() Front View: Screen gives zero turbulence even at 90mph+. Plenty wind noise though (helmet may have something to do with that). Mini-indicators should mean no replacing stalks in a fall. Bulbs are H4 and quite bright. I'll be replacing those yammie handguards though. ![]() Side View: I quite like the retro colours tbh, though I'm also a sucker for black bikes (a future project methinks..). Everything in pretty good order exceot the swinging arm and brake caliper cover, which should be an easy fix. The previous owner did two enduros on the bike, so I expected the odd scuff. |

More Pics
![]() Cockpit: All nice and easy. Bit too many wires dangling about below the dash though, I'll have to get them tidied up. Fuel filler cap had me foxed for 10 seconds - it's screw rather than flip. Bars are nice 'n wide - great for throwing the bike into corners. ![]() Voltmeter, on Left Cockpit: Which tells me the bike charges at a standstill without any lights, but needs 3k rpm with the headlights on and 4k with the fog lights on. Which I kinda would have assumed anyway! Nice blue-lit background. There's a power socket underneath for when I have some heated clothing.. ![]() Oil Temp Gauge: On right of cockpit. I don't have any clue what it's for really, except the obvious.. RaY YreKa screwed with this post 03-11-2008 at 10:58 AM |

Even More
![]() Foglights: Or Kangeroo Hunters, as my friend calls them. Tied on with cable ties, I'll be moving them into the fake air intakes as the OP did. ![]() The aforementionde fake intakes: additional lighting should look quite good coming through here I think. ![]() Bashplate: I don't know if this is OEM, but it looks pretty chunky. I'm sure someone will be along to tell me it's too gay for real ADV riding ![]() Remus End Can: Makes the bike sound like a throaty two-stroke, if such a thing exists. Hope these pics were useful if you're considering getting your hands on a Super10. The original poster, way back when, was pretty on the money. I'm really enjoying this bike and at just over £1000 I have no complaints. My mate just bought a TV for more money than that..

Cool m8, what screen you using. Looks high, maybe something for me too.
Bashplate is original, a bit gay for real ADV riding tho. :P
