Spare Room in Oakland, CA

No tent space, but I've got a spare bedroom, garage space with tools & woodfired hottub in a large Craftsman style house. We are walking distance from (2) grocerys, lots of restaurants, Starbucks/Peets/independent coffee, a beergarten & lots more!

We have alternative spiritual beliefs, so if you arent open-minded and want to preach, it wont work out.

Located at the east end of Lake Merritt, known as Grand Lake area of Oakland, 94610.

Best way to contact is by PM, I have it set for instant email.

BTW, our expectation is that you tell us stories in return!

Heidelberg, Mannheim, Eppelheim

In the outback of Eppelheim, some 10 km east of Heidelberg "downtown"

- Between Heidelberg / Mannheim, 3km away from Autobahn/Highway A5 / E35
- Open fireplace
- Tent space, very quiet but also close to the nearest citys and the rolling hills around them
- There's a lot to do here if you are up for some sight seeing. If you feel more like slowing down - it can't be more quite than in our vast backyard sourrounded by farmland and horse ranches
- Possibly couch/spare bedroom
- Carport
- Food, beer, beer garden, grocery store
- WiFi
- Guest bathroom with shower
- Tools

Email me for availability and phone. One day in advance minimum would be helpful since I'm not always checking.

Let's exchange some travel stories...

ADVRiders are more than welcome!

Small yard, not the flatest, but will work for a tent or 2 if needed.
Patio, porch, couch... Depends on the weather and your sleeping preference.
Garage and tools. Truck with a ramp if needed.
Honda shop 1/2 mile. Kawasaki, Yamaha, triumph, Harley within 20 miles.
Rum, Bourbon, and barbeque.

Always willing to help. Short notice not a problem. I check email daily.

I'm in Benton City, WA and I have tent space with picnic table and fire pit or guest bedroom and bath as long as we are around. Shop with tools as well. Tire changing stand too (for tube type tires). I'm not super active on the internet, usually too busy outside with upkeep but I do check email at

Send me an email for exact location. Hope to see some adventurers come thru!

We live in Kennedys Creek, Victoria, Australia, which is on the western edge of the Great Otway National Park and about half an hour inland from the western end of the Great Ocean Road.
Things are very basic as we have only just moved here and are slowly getting things up to scratch so as long as your expectations aren't too high you would be more than welcome

We have:
Tent space,
1 spare room with double bed.
Hot showers & flushing toilet in the house.
A commercial espresso machine (yes I am serious!)
Plenty of car and trailer storage outside (it gets very wet here in winter so you may need to be dragged out with the tractor if you come then. Summer is fine)
Shed space (dirt floor at the moment)
Plenty of tools + compressed air and a mig welder.
4x4 ute (pickup) + trailer for bike recovery
Internet access (we only get satellite internet which is slow, unreliable and expensive but fine for email, browsing and the like. Just don't expect to be able to upload your last 3 months photos and you will be fine )
Happy to be of assistance any way we can. PM me for a phone number and address.
*Edit* We are in the process of building a big a$$ed shed with a concrete floor so by next spring there will be plenty of workshop / floor space
Mostly harmless.
