Camping spot near highway in San Pedro de Vilcabamba, 2 km North of Vilcabamba (-4.243309, -79.222477) Has bathroom access, hose shower, weekend restaurant, fire pit, semi private spot with view, workshop available w/ welder, etc. craft brewery on site. Walking distance to tiendas: 2 blocks. To Vilcabamba: 2 km.
No charge for camping, just ask that you try making a small improvement to the site...machete some brush, improve the firepit, benches, whatever. Willing to help you with minor bike repairs, pannier frame straightening, limited mechanical repairs - time permitting.

The beer is good. First glass per bike is free.

Camp on the Bluff

Poplar Bluff MO. On the bluff. Over looking Black River, two blocks from court house, country in the city. If you're considerate, don't smoke around me, then you can pitch a tent in Poplar Bluff MO on the bluff, just ask no cig butts thrown around on the ground, and pickup after yourself. Right attitude, includes kayaks, fishing, bang-bang, and tours of many cool places in the foothills of the Ozarks. Clean up after yourself you can camp on the bluff. Just be respectful of your free space, and your welcome to few day stay in the middle of the US. No big city, small town, lots of cool riding and just mostly outdoors stuff. Shower available if I'm home, if not water-hose available. Happy Trails. Text me at 573-seven,seven8-twentyfive, 70. 36,760, -90.403

Tent space, spare bedroom possible, floor space likely.
Trailer to retrieve broken motorcycles.
Garage space maybe, depending upon how full of "treasures" it is at the time. Quite residential street with plenty of off-street parking.
Tools, Metric and SAE, and under-frame motorcycle lift.
Tour guide if needed.
We're a non-smoking household with cats and dogs, please plan accordingly.

Mineral Point, WI (Far west Madison metro area)

30 minutes west/southwest of Madison, WI (Mile marker 40 on U.S. 151) in the heart of the Driftless region of Wisconsin. Gateway to some of the best riding in the state.

*Large shop, moderate tools, manual tire changing stand, and an enclosed trailer for emergency use. Catch me at the right time and I can come and get you if you breakdown. No lift. No welder, but there is one here in town.

*Inside or covered overnight parking, depending.

*Tent space with campfire pit. Sorry, no floor space unless it's an emergency. Reasonable lodging is a block away, if needed.

*WiFi with fax/copier.

*Metric dealer(s) 30 miles east or west.

*H-D dealer(s) 40 miles east or west.

*Several local service shops in the area.

*Close to Trans-Wisconsin Adventure Trail. (30ish miles at the closest point)

*Adjacent to trailhead of the Cheese Country Trail system.

Mineral Point has basic amenities including food, fuel, laundry, grocery, hardware, etc. Historical community with lots of art galleries and antiques. (You know, in case you breakdown and need a watercolor print, or piece of hand-thrown pottery. )

I prefer as much notice as possible. I realize emergencies do happen. I am a non-smoker with a friendly older dog, and this is his home, too. Plan accordingly.

Located near Irvine (the next city over) in Orange County (about 20 minutes from Disneyland, 70 minutes from San Diego, 60 minutes from LA). The area is incredibly safe and the neighbors are awesome.

Have a spare bedroom with a bed, bathroom, washer & dryer, and garage space if you need.

There's a dealership down the street from here.

Have two twin beds, pull out couch and plenty of space for camping. Also have a garage with tools, truck and trailer (not always available) can be used if you're in need of a tow.

Probably worth noting that I don't really ever post on ADV, I'm active on a few other forums but I've stayed with folks from this thread and had good experiences. I'm a lurker here but you're welcome to stay with me if need be!

Best to contact me via phone: 603-662-5355
