Pictou, Nova Scotia - only about 15min from the boat to PEI.

Lots of room to camp with nice fire pit. Also have a studio that can sleep more than I'd prefer to count if the weather is bad.

Shop with tools and road/trailside rescue service if you're really in a pickle.

House is open for showers, food, etc...

Local tours also available if I'm home.

I've hosted quite a few folks over the past few years so the wife is used to ramdom bikers just showing up.

Hey folks -

We have a huge yard and/or you can crash at the brewery. Water, bathrooms, internet and showers available. Barbeque, beer, and/or smores a distinct possibility. I have standard tools as well as chain breakers and presses, etc, including steel welding capability at the barn. Always a good excuse to go for a ride in the Bighorns to show visitors around...

Home of motorcycle mechanic and Mitas tire seller

We live between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, La. Only 45 minutes to an hour to New Orleans. Here are the positives and negatives about our house:

-my husband is a motorcycle mechanic that works out of our garage
-we sell Mitas adventure bike tires
-we have a dirtbike track in our yard
-if you're nice and we have time, my husband might grill you some boudin
-we work from home, so we are usually here except for race weekends
-my husband loves to talk about bikes
-We have air conditioning!! Ha! Ha! Down here that's important

negatives
-must be dog, hamster, parakeet, kid, dirt and weed friendly
-if the kids are feeling friendly, they may give up a bed for you, but you'll probably be sleeping on the couch or you can sleep on the floor of my office

Call, CALL, CALL! I don't check private messages everyday! Kevin (225) 315-3423 or Jill (225) 627-1402. Depends on my mood and the state of the house how much notice I need!

Garage/bike help in west/central NJ

If for some reason you're in need of a place or help in NJ, I'm willing to lend a hand. I would imagine you'd be on your way to or from New England, for no one travels to NJ for adventure bike touring

But seriously, I can help point people to some nice roads away from the Interstates and traffic. Been street riding here since age 19 (over 20 years) so i know the roads and area very well. There are some nice ways to travel through NJ, especially on the West side of the state.

I live Lawrenceville, NJ: between Trenton and Princeton, right off of I-95; nice quite suburban type home. Can probably offer a guest room/shower with a nice queen size bed, as long as i get some notice (and wife's approval) Camping is probably not a good idea, for we have a resident fox and at least one skunk and raccoon that live in my back yard.

We do have three cats, all of which are harmless.

Garage space if you need it. Loaded with:

-Endless amount of metric tools
-large air compressor/impact gun
-bench grinder
-mig welder for steel or aluminum
-bench vice
-chain hoist
-duct tape :-)
-micro brews in the fridge
-lots of travel stories
-free help with the bike :-)

Can also offer trailer pick up if you have a break down. We have a dealership in town, typical Kawasaki/Suzuki place, but they do stock quite a bit of tires and such.

Welcome motorcyclists

Salida, Colorado. Salida means "exit", so if going east you would be exiting the Upper Arkansas Valley, on 50. But if coming west you would be entering some of Colorado's best riding areas. We have 5 acreas to throw your tent. Fishing in the back yard. A big shop and tools to please your bike. I can grill or take you to one of our 3 breweries for yummys. Pickup or bike trailer available. My wife and I are retired, so around most of the time---unless out riding. scarlettammons@msn.com or 720-390-2995, Robert
