Park City, UT - spare room

Hi All,

I am in Park City, UT (20 min out of Salt Lake City) in the mountains. Open air parking (safe but no garage) and have a spare room or patio for sleeping.

Always good to host fellow travelers... when I am not on the road myself!

Cheers, Carrie

Reference? - Fellow inmate BikerAl is with me right now on her Western US tour from Vancouver, BC. Funny - I am from that area also!

Hungry Mother, near Marion Virginia off of Route 16. We are 7 miles from I 81 at Marion on 16.

We have private property behind Hungry Mother State Park. ADV riders are welcome to camp while they are enjoying the excellent riding in the area. 16 and the surrounding highland area is full of beautiful roads and is contiguous to great roads heading into Mount Rogers, Damascus, the North Carolina mountains, the Snake, Smokies and the Dragon.

Contact me here by pm. Best is email for initial contact. Use ADV Camping at Hungry Mother on the subject line, so I'll know.

If possible I'll help with tools. I'm excellent with tires. I have fire wood. I might know where a cold beer may be found.

I ain't a going without my hog, my gun, my whisky and my Bible.

We're in Portland, Oregon, in the NE part of town, off of NE Alberta Street & NE 60th Street.

We have a house with a guest room, a huge backyard with room for like 20 tents, decent sized garage with basic tools, and are happy to host! I am also available for rescue missions within 100 miles, and have a trailer.

Best for contact is to email phasenine at, or to text or call (617)-eight-one-six-5468.

You must be ok with dogs, we have a mega-friendly pity, and a wary, big wolf

My wife and I (mid to late 30s, we like bikes, world travel, good food and beer) have plenty of space for 20 tents or we can throw a mattress on the floor in the spare room(not a problem), hot shower, beer, whatever, maybe even some food or a bonfire, the grill is always open for cooking. You could even stay in the toy hauler if you want a private room. The garage is full of bikes & tools, I keep a decent stock of KTM 950 & 530 parts right now, you can do a tire change, fork rebuild or much needed oil change. Cycle Gear is 10min away if you need stuff and Five Star Cycle up near Erie generally has lots of KTM parts in stock (just say'n). We are 30min north of Downtown Pittsburgh but within 10min of the house are all the usual chain restaurants, whole foods, walmart ect. 10min from I-79 & I-76. Best to send an email or call/text, short notice is ok, we are either here or out traveling ;) -Kyle

Room for a couple tents, and if the weather is crappy you can use my popup camper on my truck, or my couch. Wifi, and use of a small bathroom/shower/kitchen. 2 bike shops within a mile.

Send an e-mail to my username @ gmail.

Located in Iowa City, IA.

Have room for one or two indoors (tiny house) or two or three tents outdoors. Happy to provide a hot shower, cold beer, good coffee, food, and laundry. No attached garage and a fairly limited supply of tools at the house. More than happy to help work on stuff as I can though! End up traveling quite a bit, so advanced warning (2+ days ideally) is a definite plus. A BMW shop and a couple others are in-town within 5-10 miles.
