bicyclists will stop sliding through empty stop signs when cars stop (long list of daily infractions, including running stop lights, no stop right turns, no stop left turns, lane incursions, general inattention, cellphone use, speeding, road rage, etc etc).

Aurelius is not here to be educated. He's made his mind up already....

It's beyond belief someone who actively rides a bicycle would suggest hitting/nudging/whatever them with their bumpers. I'm sure he's joking but really, it was in very poor taste.

Something felt a bit funny in the front end.....

I actually went bombing down a pot holed canyon rode with it like that.

Salsa said I was out of warranty but quietly replaced it anyway. I figured the 6 year old frame had about 15k miles on it.

Can't see the pics for some reason, but the link took me to your SmugMug.

Hopefully that works.

Yikes! Glad it held during your bomb run.

Salsa Casserolle

Ironic, they had a recall on the matching stem a few years ago.
Beautiful stem that they said may crack.

WOW on that fork. I know they built the casserolle fork to be road only but come on! It also doesn't look like you were trying to moto that thing either. I am not suprised they quietly took care of you but that shouldn't ever happen.

Saying that
I do like the Salsa guys and even work with the wife of one of them. It's cool seeing them 'testing' new stuff on the trails out my back door as I've seen some of the new stuff before it was anywhere near production.
