hardly anyone drove cars in San Francisco. my parents only ever had a single car, which was garaged most of the time... they didn't get a second car until we moved into the burbs (Marin) in the 70s.

That is no bullshit, I could have the most fucked up day ever and about 2 miles into a trip to the beer store, I have a permanent smile affixed to my face.

Regardless, that gold Sting Ray is fun as hell to cruise around on. I ride bikes, all different kinds, big, small, heavy, light, ugly, perdy...dosen't matter. They all have an uncanny ability to put an instant smile on my face, period.

Learned a new word today: angiogram. I was having a little dizziness when my HR goes above 177 (at my age, go figure) and since my father died of congested heart failure, I decided to go see a cardiologist.

The stress test showed some parts of my heart may not be getting good blood flow so the angiogram, scheduled for Thursday, will show if it was a false-positive, if I need a stent or two or if it's more serious. FWIW, the echocardiogram was normal so structurally, all is good there.

All that time and effort to get into shape only to have hereditary factors kick my butt.

If you don't hear from me after Friday, you'll know it didn't end well. . (I keed...I keed....I expect no issues!)
