I like my two pair of PI also. Others like other brands. I tried cheap and they are exactly that. They suck bad.

Thanks for the link Stinez. I had some Nashbar shorts in the past and they were crap. However, there's no reason for shorts to cost more than $50 a pair. Its just spandex/lycra with a chamois crotch made in the same asian sweatshops as all the other crap we buy here in the states. Tried a pair with gel and thought they felt too squishy as my ass kept sliding off the saddle. The only thing I miss about living in Raleigh was close proximity to the Performance Bike outlet store. I'm still wearing 10 year old mtb shoes with rusty cleats clicked into SPD pedals. I should put KLR stickers on my Trek.

Performance Bike has a great web-site too.

Including "outlet" stuff (top right)

And Performance has 15% off everything....

It seems like a good time to buy.

Speaking about buying stuff has anyone tried these?

I now wear bibs *over* a t-shirt.

I'm now the dorkiest dork that ever donned spandex.

But goddam that's a comfortable setup.

Oh doG no!

Bibs go UNDER. If you must wear something, wear a base layer.

Jersey ALWAYS on top of bibs.

I know, and I'll keep racing that way. Jersey under bibs would suck anyway. I'm talking (horror of horrors) cotton t-shirts here.

I'm a sick, sick man.

If you'd like a little style advice, then just be sure to put bandaids on your nipples and proudly flaunt them in the sheerest jerseys you can find!

Chicks dig it!

Pretty good deals to be found here if you're in SF, I believe they have a store in Walnut Creek now too:

So I sweat like the fat bastid I am so sweat in my eyes is a huge problem for me - as in, it annoys the shit out of me and I have to stop all the time to wipe the sweat. It really really cuts down on the great enjoyment I get out cycling.

I saw these on the site Gummee listed earlier

Anybody used these or anything like them ?

Any other suggestions ?

Cheers
