I hope to be using crutches by then--should be able to strap those across my back and ride the Stella.

I'm thinkin' the Halloween shindig might be good. I could ride the Stella there, and SWMBO could take the Fit or, better still, a rental van so we could bring her Super9 and some cookout vittles....and bring my chair along.

Hmmm, a barley support vehicle. Not sure how I would get this one down there, strap it on the back of the GT?

BSV is a must, and also you should bring Halloween decorations, candy for the trick or treaters and maybe some Mead. One year we made our own chilly as well and also made hot spiced wine (it was damp and chilly that year).

I make a damn fine Chili.

They're go anywhere...it just takes so damn long to take the back roads.

I'd happily ride my Stella up there to see y'all but I'd have to take some serious time off.

I'm on a backup computer right now so I don't have the images handy--but here's a pic of the Dowco rollbag ($16 on sale) on the old Vento. Plenty of room for daytrips--enough for raingear, lunch, gloves, etc. Pretty roomy and it'll slide right over the seat.

However if you want something more robust/lockable, leave the topcase. Or at least leave the rack. These things are the best bikes ever for errand-running. You can get a case of beverages across the floorboards.

BTW you should have a grocery bag hanger right above the fuel cutoff valve.

We're gonna have to do something about that taillilght, though.

Just got the quote from my insurance agent - it has to have the same full coverage as the other bikes to get the multiple bike discount, so the little beyotch has 500K liability, comp collision yada yada for a whopping $38 a year
