The Spray tunnel, near Zeehan on the west coast of Tasmania.
It is an old tramway tunnel put in to service the "Spray" Mine, the strange cross section is to allow the passage of a boiler used at the mine. ![]() This isn't realy a tunnel as such as you can't travel in it without a key to get in. It is a tunnel put in to assist in the construction of a hydro power station in Tasmania, called "Poatina" which is supposed to be the local aboriginal word for "hole in the ground"
