Someone here will know, though you don't need one IMO. I missed it initially, but only for a few 100 miles.

Mirrors?

Where did you get your new mirrors? They look great. How effective are they? Are they universal or KTM specific?

Thanks.

Type "CNC mirrors" into Ebay.....they work fine...they are small but sit outside my shoulders so it is a clear view...you need the 14mm size...

The decider for me was that I felt the SM would be a better bad and dirt road bike; or at least I'd feel better using it on those kind of roads. To me, the Duke is pretty similar to the Tuono (which also made my short list)- pretty much a more comfortable hard core sport bike.

My rear is about half worn at 2K miles. The chicken strips are pleasantly narrow, and I really like how the rear lets go. Its very smooth and progressive - predictable even. This is the first bike I've been confident enough to push the rear a bit by choice, knowing I can reel it in if necessary. It pushes out smoothly and comes back smoothly as well. Nice. They don't appear to be cold blooded either.

I can't regularly do any single-track or ugly gravel around here without hearing sirens or getting an assfull of buckshot, so knobbies are out.

Yeah, I'll probably stick with the Scorpion Syncs -- Unless someone tells me ME880s turn me into a drifting doG!

Gearing Changes ???

I have lowered my gearing to a 16/42 and still have a top end of 138MPH. I would like to go even lower but can't seem to find a 15 countershaft or 43,44,45 rear. If anybody knows where to get one please let me in on the source. Thanks!
