are we completely sure about all this? cause when you look at the bikes side by side it appears the front cylinder pipe will work with no issues.

Well, I'd have to look at the swingarm again...But I thought I remember it looking different. The oil tank definately is. Thats where the skid plate attatches on the SE

Talking 6342 miles-- soft bling

The 950SM is such a cool bike, it gets its own set of color-matched gloves

I think KTM has everything on the planet made in orange. Golf balls, dog bowls.

6532 miles

Did a very nice mixed-surface ride last night with some friends for some BBQ. Had a lot of great photo opps that I should have exploited; especially of a long cratered rock strewn steep downhill used-to-be road that would have made a killer video. But you know how it is when you're in a groove. So you'll have to be content with this arrive at home artsie-fartsie cockpit picture

Pissed 6654- shoulda been another 100 or so but....

These small sharp rocks on this long dirt road thought otherwise.

Which ultimately led to this ignomonious ride home

Yes.
No.

For how/where I ride, I really like the Syncs in every respect. I've been riding these kinds of roads for the past year on them; so I consider this a fluke puncture that no tire of a similar type would have prevented.

Although in the cosmic scheme of things there is no doubt that this flat would not have happened at that place or time due to the innumerable variables that would have been involved had I gotten another tire that would have made it nearly impossible to run whatever it is I ran over in quite the same way. Heavy, eh?

I finally pulled the trigger- 950SM-R

Well, after about 6 months of going back and forth from one bike to another I finally pulled the trigger on an '07 KTM 950 SMR. I was considering the 690SM but I thought it was a bit small for me. Still have a deposit on the Megamoto but by the time it gets to the US the only bike I might be hoping for is a 990SM. I hope to pick her up this week and post some pics soon.

KTM OEM hand guards

Can anyone tell me which KTM OEM handguards will fit on the 950SM. I'm looking to add a black pair to my bike. Are there any sweet aftermarket ones that people have mounted?, any pics?
