have you had a pillion aboard the SM yet Walter? Ive ridden the SuperDuke, but am thinking the SM might be a better option, but would like some opinion on travelling with a pillion....

, but otoh the seat is flat (if firm) and the passenger pegs aren't that high; so it might not be as bad as first suspected.

I ran a 950SM and a 690SM back to back in the KTM Demo Dayz at our local dealer. The 690SM as you might suspect is a very nice, tidy, compact bike with great manners and great feel. I have never ridden a bike that felt so easy to ride. It was almost cheating. Being at 5,000 feet, however, the 690 quickly ran out of lungs especially compared to the 950. The 690 is a great bike, but for me, I went with the 950!

This thread was 5 pages back..we can't have that. I thought I'd revive it with a photo of my 2007 950SMR. It's a little chilly outside so I figured it was photo time.

Hey Snarf.....for the money there great. They come with the baffles so you can quite them down if you like, they flow very well and mounted up with no problems. I'd love for them to come out with a Ti system, but I think the only thing you gain is the cool look and a touch less weight! I give them
