I've got State Farm on the house, cars and bike and it runs $265.32/yr for an '07 SMR.

Shop your insurance....
Clean record, $218 per year on my 07' SMR. Single moto policy with Esurance (now Allstate). My rate has dropped from around $500 when I first purchased the bike in 08'. I did have one no fault claim (deer attack), my rate actually dropped. Weird, I know. |

The 950 and the 1200 (BMW) - together - cost me $283 and I have full coverage with low deductibles with Allstate.

It's just odd that one SM is a super-sport and one is a dirt bike? Not a CC difference, a whole class difference.
I guess all 950 guys are hooligans

I have esurance, and pay $78 a month. Not horrible. But doable. (2 speeding tickets and a no mirror ticket are the cause)

In Canada, State Farm and TD see the 950SM as a sportbike. But Primmum sees it as a dual sport.
State Farm quoted me $1360/yr full coverage (1 mil PL/PD + comp and coll.) Primmum carries my policy now for $878

For mine, Rider Insurance in NJ quoted me $580/year for 100k/300k/50k, 500 deductible and comp/collision with 3 moving violations. Dropping Comp/Collision lowered the price to $380/year.

I'm a few pages late in saying so, but thanks for posting the pictures and link to your RR. This picture is amazing! I can't imagine any roads being much better than these. One of my all-time favorite pictures was one you posted in an annual summary a year or two ago. IIRC, it was a slightly misty overlook down a steep hillside with trees that had blazing red leaves. I went looking for it but couldn't find it.

I just discovered that my bike won't start if it's in gear and the clutch is pulled in. I always start in neutral, so I never noticed it. I'm guessing that some switch on the clutch is shot and needs to be replaced.
Is said switch on the bars or tied to the clutch slave somehow? I just installed the Evolutione clutch slave a couple weeks ago and wonder if that somehow caused this? Anyone have to fix this yet? I'm at work or I wouldn't be quite so lazy about looking up the parts fiche/etc. Garry screwed with this post 10-17-2011 at 07:30 AM |
