New tires
If any of you are looking for a new sporting road tire you may want to check this out:
http://www.bikebandit.com/bridgeston...otorcycle-tire I just ordered a new pair of Bridgestone's latest, the Battlax S20 from above for $197 shipped. These replace the Battlax BT016 pro. Early feedback seems pretty positive plus the price from BikeBandit was attractive enough, I decided to roll the dice. Was also considering another set of the Pirelli DRC's or some of the new Mich Pilot Road 3's. But for close to what I would have paid for a just a rear of either of those fine tires I'll have a set of tires that I hope will best match what I do with my SMR (Mostly road with the rare track day). Visor Down review, http://www.visordown.com/features/br...iew/20314.html Cheers, NM |

Hey goodcat, I would be interested in your jet kit, but I know nothing about if the jetting would be the same where you live to where I live.

My 950 went to a Frenchman last night. Who looked at it. Gave me an envelope of cash. Asked to ride it. Came back from said ride and said "Yup." We had a smoke, then he rode it from LA to Lone Pines CA starting at around 7pm. My kinda dude!I was really bummed. Should a 950 and my paths cross again some day I won't be a bit surprised. You guys have been awesome w/ info and have one of the lowest dick head ratio's of any thread I've participated in on ADV ![]() I'll continue to lurk you son's a bitches.........

Man I thought my local shop was high, $680! That's crazy. I can get a set of 4 high end SUV tires installed on my truck for that money.
Got to hand it to Bike Bandit. Ordered the Battlax S20 tires at Noon yesterday, they just arrived. May have them installed by the weekend, if I can get a little wrench time in on the SMR over the next two days. nattyMo screwed with this post 04-04-2012 at 10:30 AM |

I'm a big southwestmoto fan for tires. Been getting rubber from them for years. They used to have a buy 2 tires get free shipping thing going in too. Fast shipping. Lots of options, and some of the best prices around.

While you guys are playing with tires, if you stumble across - or get a confirmed delivery date - for the new:
Conti Trail Attack in 120/70 R17 & 180/55 R17 (The Perelli Scorpion Trail would also work) Continental TKC-80 in 120/70 R17 & 180/55 R17 Please post up. They've all been promised for this spring and I need both for my Alaska trip. Thanks,
