They don't list the big bikes on their site, but I'm sure they can make whatever graphics you want. I'm still lurking, I hope to pick up a 950 soon. I missed my chance a few months ago. There were 5 or so to choose from but had to get my ducks in a row. |

If you happen to have the faster, more sophisticated "Black" model, I'm sure they can order that one for you.Or possibly CJ Racer (CJ DEsigns) can hook that up for you? If you are looking for cool hard parts he is the man. He has the coolest and most durable aftermarket goodies for the LC8's. I really want one of his see through clutch covers and a few other cool bits he makes. Good luck.

new Seat Available
Just a quick headsup, Seat Concepts will have a new seat available for the 950 SM in two weeks. I've ridden a coupe of these and they were fine, a little firmer, a little wider and they take the crippling crown out of the top. Present prices are $160 to $170 . Quite a bit cheaper than the Corbins, Sargents, Mayers, etc.

Update!
I may have been a bit quick to be critical of the TurnTech battery.
My Voltage regulator failed, again. Yep this will be my second. The Super Enduro's have been prone to VR failures, most think the stock location contributes to their short life. Some SE owners have gone through 7 or 8 stock VR's. I did some research on an alternative and came across this: http://www.ricksmotorsportelectrics....dLVE05NTBTTVI= Supposed to last much longer than stock. I just ordered one, so I'll report back in the years to come. You can read more about the SE VR problem here: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=668132 Mounted it to the side of the airbox: ![]() NM. nattyMo screwed with this post 05-10-2012 at 02:08 PM |

My SE VR failed at ~25,000 miles. I don't do a lot of very slow stuff with it which may be a longevity factor. No SM VR issues at +33,000 miles

I'm right at 17k miles,
It looks to me like the SE, SM, SMR and SMT all have the Voltage reg in the same spot, right above the rear exhaust collector, protected by a heat shield. I thought a shorted stator/VR connector was at fault for the first VR failure. Now I'm not so sure. I have been in the habit of allowing the bike to idle at 4bars while putting on the last bit of gear from time to time. I've been stuck in traffic a handful of times but I've done nothing like the type of low speed/high load high heat ridding the SE's would see off road. Guess I'm just lucky ![]() I'm planning on relocating my new VR to the LH side of the airbox, just behind the access triangle. I'll post some pics once I'm done. ![]() ![]() NM nattyMo screwed with this post 05-10-2012 at 02:16 PM |

Do any of you guys know what color the frame is on these supermoto's? Mine is a silver/grey kinda color and I would like to touch it up in some places where its worn.
I know I could bring the bike in and get a body shop to make me up a can, but the bike is half taken apart right now, was hoping someone would know what color is fairly close. |

Some VR's fail because the battery has failed first. Hasn't happened to me yet (950SE) but that is what some people claim.
