I really liked my Seat Concepts foam and cover until I picked up a Renzaco. I have a Seat Concepts foam and cover for sale if anyone is interested. I also have a Renzaco tall complete seat for sale.

I really like the shape, the non-grippy cover and especially the color scheme of the stock SMR seat, which no doubt when combined with the orange frame is the secret to the SMR's superior performance!! Do you folks with the Seat Concepts set ups think there would be a benefit to switching only the foam to Seat Concepts foam trimmed to the stock shape?

Definitely maybe. But.......the seat concepts cover is, IMO, superior to the stocker in every way.

I took the exhaust off and found that my fibre gasket at the rear collector was toast....and one of my fibre washers at the cylinder was a bit iffy. I replaced them all and voila a nice growly gurgle on decel and no big cannon boom like before. Check those gaskets!

Thanks, will check that out prior to scheduling with the local KTM Guru.

Dump the Dirt bike style pegs and go with some of these like i did. I even lowered bike suspension (better valving and stiffer springs - SPS Suspension) and still don't drag these pegs. Before the SPS work and Peg change i was grinding the stocks all the time while getting knee down. (crappy stock suspension) Now i just drag knees - :) and occasionally the skid plate i installed

My '06 sm with the Seat Concepts complete. Carbon top and sides, contrast stiching. One million times better than stock.

I virtually gave away my R#*@Zco, Seat Concepts was a huge improvement. For it to be more comfortable, you have to have more seat width for a greater surface area. The stock seat pan will only give you an extra inch or so. And, you also have to cut the roll / crown out of the center of the stock seat. It jams itself between your buttocks where a lot of nerve endings must converge.

Benduro- That seat does look sharp. I like the tail light too- makes your bike look like a rocket ship!

KHVol- Good points about seat shape. It looks like the SC is a winner for anyone that's ever used one. Great feedback. How the heck have you been KHVol? Still riding the big Multistrada?
