I've got the 16t also Chuck. After I get feel for the bike again I'm going to start swapping around and see what I like best.

Suspension adjustment question

My right fork rebound adjuster (the black knurled plastic nut on top of the forks) only backs out 15 clicks (the left can back out 25 clicks, standard is 17 clicks out). I'm trying to gain some more suspension compliance, and rebound seems ok after softening it a bit, so it's important to me.

I know it sounds like an odd (or stupid) request; but would some of you check to see that you can get equal (+20 clicks) outbound from both your fork legs.

thanks,

Walter, I've got 27 clicks from full in on both legs.

Well Ive had the SM back for a little over 2 weeks and love every minute of it. Been riding two up about 50/50 road and dirt and leaning more twords dirt and its time to build a SKID PLATE! we rode the twisties for about 40 miles and transitioned to dirt fire road that turned to single track down a steep decline and I finaly dented my ti akro header! Totally worth it though we watched para gliders and hang gliders jump off the mountian in sunny so cal on a perfect day! pics to come!

Thanks for the info....looks like my jetting is the same as your except for 1/4 turn on the screws. That can't account for 10+ mpg difference.

Maybe I didn't fill my tank all the way before my last ride....

I've developed an oil leak running down from inside the V on the left side of the engine. Trickles down on the rear side of the stator cover and runs down inside the shifter.

It seems I've read somewhere that this is a common problem with an easy fix - like some kind of sender loose. Just don't know if I should take it apart real quick or take it to the dealer as she is still in the warranty.

I wanted to change my bikes appearance this year so I had PG graphics make a set of graphics for my bike. I have another front fender and mask so I can change the look more if I want.

What I'd really like is some Woodys spoked wheels, but too much money for this year.
