Hey Joe... you obviously don't know me. That bike will be retired in a year just from the abuse. I build 'em, I ride 'em, I scrap 'em...

I've had enough!

You guys are really starting to hack me OFF! Posting all these pictures of 100hp dirt bikes is so....so... reckless and irresponsible. Don't you guys know that some people are trapped in fixed incomes in the form of school teachers contracts that won't be up for at least another year! What's worse is that I'm, I mean they, are already spending all of the money that their grown kids are planning to get when I, I mean, they, die! These people see this stuff dangling out there on this sight and react by making foolish purchases like HID headlites and titanium bits...and dirtbikes that go 130 mph!!! Shame on you all!! Now pardon me while I head over to my KTM dealer. I think I can still get there before they close....

Bad Days

Nah, Powercell, we are not having bad days. We want to see that quite impressive 950 SE in its element. The Pix that D Haynes posted a page back were exciting. Your build pictures are impressive, but there is a difference. I have built, raced, traded race bikes for years and the thrill is in the performance. Get a good photographer....

Wanna Ride?

Hey PowerCell, what part of So Cal do you live in? I live in Altadena so, if you can actually ride at a good clip, I might like to ride with you, most of the guys I've ridden with from this site are, let's say, VERY careful (I didn't want to hurt any feelings by saying SLOW!). Any how l don't think there is much chance I'd slow you down (as long as I'm running knobbies that is). Maybe we could take turns getting some action photos.

Hey Dub - More than happy to ride with ya'... I'm near Long Beach. No need to bring a carmera, let's just ride.

Hey Powercell,
Can you give us some closeups of the number plate mounting hack with a rundown of what you did?
It looks like a nice modification.
thanks.

Hey Sylvia -

I chopped the tray just behind the rear 6mm mounting screws, then fabed a 3mm end cap and attached it with aviation rivets. I sealed the tail end with black silly-cone to try and keep some of the silt out (dreaming).
