For the front I use either Metzler 6 days extreme or Pirelli Scorpion MX Mid-Soft. The 6 days extreme are a tad better on rocks, the MX Mid-Soft a tad better in soft stuff. Pressure is sometime as low as 14 psi (1 bar), but that's on sand / loose stuff. When its more rocky I go around 20 psi. This goes for both front and rear. I just tried 25-30 psi ONCE, but it was impossible to get the traction I wanted.

The most important is to use Bridgestone UHD tubes with DOUBLE rimlocks on the rear. I had a torn valve stem last fall, and that was my very first. After double rimlocs, I can go lower than 14psi if I want without the valve stem to lean.

It's great you gonna buy the SE, because I need your superior suspension like you did for my 300. I just wait until you have played some with it.

Happy riding!

16cs. Never tried a 15. For the rear I can live with the stock 45 in most of the trails where I have some 'float'. It requires come clutching yes, and when its too tight and includes steep climbs, I have the 48 teeth. My favourite 300 goat trails prefers the 48, but I don't go as often there now because there are too many places where the 300 just got over bigger rocks / logs etc. Its ok when I wheelie the SE over these sections, but I fail sometimes and just slam the bashplate into the stuff and pushes the bashplate into the oiltank, and further into the rad. Gotta fix that with some other support.

Pissed SE with 690 enduro black fender

Just put her on, makes the bike look a bit more mean, not that it needed it...
