whoa. hang on a second. as someone who is shopping for a ktm adventure, i have got to ask why you feel the SE is a better do-all bike than the adv! anyone who has sampled both (i havent), would love to hear your opinion on this one.

If you ride more roads, the ADVenture may be your choice

especially a streetbiker coming over to dirt.
The SE can go so many more places off-road, PLUS it's A LOT easier to work on & A LOT Lighter

Work on an adventure & you'll see. Too many components to remove & bolts /
fasteners strip after a few years repairs.
Im not Knocking the Adventure at all. I've ridden one several times & like my
SE Mucho Better as I dont like windshields or ever carry a passenger.

I did 1800+ miles [1200 on T.A.T.] in 4 days just fine with stock seat & tank which I like better than aftermarkets.

I chose the SE because it's around 40 lbs lighter, easier work on (less plastic) and it looks cooler

, no EFI and I got it brand new for $10,499usd.

the money I saved is going into goodies.

And ebrew ( my bubby ) has one. He was threatening to kill my pet monkey if I got an adventure.

Little over a year ago I was set on getting a ADV. All the younger guys I work with Talked me into getting the SE. Soo happy I listen to them.

The Carbed 950 bikes runs so much better than the jerky EFI thats so slow to return back down to idle.

I ONLY like & ride the DIRT BIKE look.
