Nice bike. Thoughtfully farkled.

I have been giving the 950SE serious consideration as my next dose of ORANGE. I have however read conflicting reports about the handling with the 17" wheels.

What are your impressions?
Does the front end push when ridden aggressively?
I would greatly appreciate your feedback.

the 19/17 combination works better for most.

Personally, I love the bike. I'd be hard pressed to say it's worth the $$,,, but it is an exclusive bike,,,, so it comes with the territory I guess.

Can't really give you any impressions of the bike under aggressive riding condition,,, I don't really push too hard. I'm more of a cruise and enjoy kinda guy. Nothing would make me more sad than to crumple my bike,,, so I've always taken it pretty easy on the road. If I want to get stupid an aggressive,,, I wait til I get into the sand.

Sorry I can't help you there,,, I can say that the SM set up is very nice for cruising the tarmac. Very smooth and they turn in very nice,,, very quick,,, much more quickly than a street or sport bike.

Nice conversion TRC, the bike is looking great after the conversion!

I am intrested to know more about the skid/bashplate, as i understand it is a one off build made by you!?

Do you have any toughts of produce and selling this bashplate? Or do you have drawings or templates to share?

I know there are a couple of options out there, but the one you built really looks to be "the" bashplate to have.

Are you using the original rear rim? Asking because the tyre profile seems very road friendly

This isn't so much a 950 Pic ( you can only see my front fender and light )

But the poor 640 adv... this is what happens if you ride behind a SE

Yeah - original rear rim. Tyre is a Mitas E-07 130/80-18. Yes, I could have used a more agressive tyre on the weekend.

After installing the 2-1...the SE seemed to loose some growl also the Akro pipe just didn't look like it was made for the SE....

Enter TRC and his fab magic...UPS a pipe...wait 1 day....UPS comes back and voila
