I think the answer to you question is within your question.

I think "Poser in the Pumpkin Patch" was already taken.

No. I had a recycled Karoo (T) on the back...fuggin' cheapskate. It was no less scary, by the way. The brand new 908 has a place of honor in my garage. I pass it every time I go riding. Either way, it was the front Karoo that got me...and a little speed, maybe.

That looks a little cold, for me.

Very nice pic., though.

Is it an optical illusion (front fender, maybe?), or is that SE (on the left) lowered a bit? If it is...details

It's not lowered it is only different front fender.

Weather was nice temperature was around zero Celsius which is nice I like more this kind of weather than too hot summer days.

Yeah, Patacca...You are correct. Earlier this week, I heard one of our weathercasters say that the temperature, in San Antonio, had been below freezing (like high 'teens) for over 56 hours.

That may be no big deal for most of the northern OC dudes. But, that is crazy for South Texas. It is not uncommon for us to have freezing temperatures at night. But, by midday, we are back up into the 40's, 50's or 60's.

I don't know how alot of you dudes deal with all the cold and snow. I'd be on the first bus/train/plane out of town.

***In keeping with the thread, what rear tire is that, dogsslober?

Tire

Its a dunlop 606 130/90. wore out a teraflex and had the dunlop in the garage, so I thought I'd give it a try on the 950. Like them on my xr650. Will see how long it last on the big bike. Put about 100 miles on it sunday and happy with the grip in the dirt and pavement.

Things that make you go, HMMMM...

I've been wanting to try a 130 T-63 on the SE (58 bucks...Fuk yeah!!! ) . But, I was a little scared of the whole load rating/index thing, as opposed to the 140 offerings.

I wonder how many other SE dudes are taking advantage of the thinner rim...and running a 130 tire.

I have been using:
110/110-18
120/100-18
130/80-18
130/90-18
140/80-18

Different brands and patterns of course, they all worked good.
On the SE, a tire is new or worn out so anything with some wear left on it gets put on my bike.

The Michelin T63 is a good tire, better grip than expected och pavement. If you can find it at a good price, go for it, I would.
Over here in Sweden, a 130/80-18 T63 is well over 100 USD so I dont use them that often, but if I could get them for 58 USD, I'd buy three.

Next set of tires that will go on the SE (when the studded ones are removed) is this: http://www.motoz.com.au/shop_proddetails.asp?prodID=103

Will be interesting to se how they work, I have never used them before.
