Spring is about to spring........
Steering was getting a little heavy and forks were weeping.

Lower steering brg is fooked.



Lower race...fooked




Upper bearing is ok but will change anyhooo




Going to re seal and re- bushing the forks, install these new bearings, change the coolant and maybe the front wheel brgs.


SO whats up with this panel, do ya think it actually does anything? It's not visable with the tank on. Looks like it prevents "fresh" air into the snorkel area.

donīt think so, this invention has been tested and has shown no signs of fatigue in 10 thousand kms, of course itīs a "do it yourself", you know

that plastic avoids of dirt and mud around filter box and..... anything else, iīve ridden without them and no differences

Funny, bought mine used, it doesn't have that, I didn't know it existed. I do have the little one below the coolant reservoir but definitely don't have the one pictured. Perhaps the idea is that it somehow keeps the snorkel pulling moderately cooler air from above than the heat coming off the LC8 and radiator at really slow speeds?. Or maybe its just to hide stuff.
